HOW TO ELIMINATE FLEAS
To successfully eradicate any flea infestation you must address all 3 factors
(applicable to your circumstances,)
1. Your Pet/s
you will need to wash pets and use a flea comb afterwards to check for strays
(you may also want to treat your pet for fleas whilst you get thru these stages)
2. Home
Our Tip:
vacuum, vacuum, vacuum,
wash, wash, wash
and vacuum again every day for 7-10 days
3. Yard
Our Tip:
prior to Spring spread Diatomaceous Earth over your lawn, gardens and anywhere your pet frequents, this will stop any egg it contacts from hatching by dehydrating the egg or larvae that emerges. (depending on size of yard but 10-20 kg is required)
If you are amidst a flea infestation, you may engage the use a pest professional or DIY product
We find Fortune 500 (pesticide) gives the best result with 1 good applications
(warning - do not leave your pet in the yard whilst spraying and allowed to dry. approx. 6-12 hours)
