Just Magick is an exciting new offspring of the successful Itch Magick range developed in 2013 by an Aromatherapist & a Horse Man.
The range of treatment options can help provide immediate Relief, Healing and hopefully Protection, for horses suffering from Sweet Itch / Queensland Itch and dogs who suffer from Hot Spots & similar allergen sensitive conditions.
The primary cause of the Itch in horses is an allergic reaction to the bites and excrement of midges. It is a chain reaction that can be seasonal, environmental & habitual. Understanding the affliction helped decide the ingredients, delivery substance and consistency. The results have been nothing short of amazing and encouraged us to make the transition to the now re-named Just Magick.
And so 'Just Magick' was born...
Just Magick is designed to penetrate right through the base hair layers and dead skin to be absorbed and spread throughout. This consistency may not suit those who are showing their horses or presenting for sales etc. although it can easily be washed off with shampoo, The intention is to allow the skin to reset and restart its natural cycle including trapped dirt and oils mixed, it is all part of the re-balancing process. You really want to saturate the affected areas, especially in the 1st treatments. We have found two initial treatments, 48 hours apart, followed by weekly top-up treatments have had great results.
And the more generous you are in your initial applications the better the results :)
The application of Just Magick is an integral part of the healing process. The effort you put into it will be returned to you in so many ways. Not least of all it will strengthen the bond & connection you share with such a beautiful creature.
